Posts On Management - Hazardous Or Practical?

Leadership isn't something that is offered just to those of us with gray hair. However, there is something to be said for the lessons that the University of Life teaches us along the way to those gray hairs!

Our typical peeps can envision what type of leader they would be but this only sets them up for dissatisfaction and frustration as a couple of weeks tick off and they still are stuck in neutral at the beginning gate. My take is based on what I have actually seen from the Mark's and the Mary's who do become leaders in the conventional perception. Simply put, they get people to join their organization and achieve some level of success greater than what they had actually been doing. They have a 'group' and their company is growing, making cash and getting some momentum. Now they may be all set for these principles authentic leadership and the masters and their fantastic and original ideas, [wink, wink], however for the most part the bothersome question for the majority of people stays: How do I become a leader without any followers?

These standards will help you "spot" potential leaders. When you have found them, you can take it to the next level and begin the certification procedure. But DON'T ASK ANYONE YET!

Once you have recognized somebody whom you deem to be loyal, providing a "test" or 2 - without them knowing it, is also a sensible thing to do. An example might be as easy as having them send you tracking reports, or being offered at a specific time for a three-way telephone call?

Address some difficulties to your leadership skills. Volunteer to resolve a few of the recurring problems in your organization. As you do so, you need to arrange a team to fix those issues. By doing this, you can show your organization your management skills and how you approach people management.

Produce a pastoral care schedule that includes everyone on the group. The objective is to spread out the visitation and ministry tasks so that the pastor is refraining from doing everything. This not only makes the congregation healthier, but it offers the pastor a break in order to avoid burn-out. Any system that fulfills that goal will be a success however these options might be thought about: splitting the whole parish up into groups with each group member assigned a group, providing each employee one week a month to do whatever visitation requires to be done, having the employee make any gos to that arise on the pastor's day of rest or when out of town, or having one week a month when the pastor makes no sees and the rest of the group makes all the check outs.

Other times, you may require someone with a more unbiased view over your situation. This is the crucial to an efficient leadership future. This is why, in MLM, management qualities will assist you accomplish your goals. A tip for all MLM leaders: when somebody on your group doesn't know if he/she can go on, or they're having any kind of troubles, you can assist them by inquiring why they choose to do this in the very first place. This is one of the most important management qualities you must have.
